I only have a downloaded MP3 so far, but heard about Mohini Dey while reading on Steve Vai's site.

Mohini Dey ia a funky, HOT jazzy bass player and singer. Steve Vai plays on her recent release. It's pretty funky, but I love the energy!

Lots of content on YouTube, but I have yet to find an album to buy. Probably dig deeper into Amazon soon.

Listening to it now with Zrock2 set at 2:30 and back switch down. Very good sound stage and vast improvements in sonics as compared to a 12 oclock(no zrock filtering) setting. John

If this one don’t remove walls in the listening room then some treatment is in order! My room needs the rear diffusers lowered and speakers lowered.
Hmmmm, maybe a new chair would be better.
It’s just disco but she was tops in the 90s with quality recordings that painted pictures even on modest reproduction systems. It’s been awhile since this one was played. Picking up a few errors never noticed before.
50 hours on the salvaged USB tin plated braided cable and the bass is starting to tighten up well. Why do cables and speakers take so long to burn in Huh

Antonio Arnedo "Colombia" Adventure Music cd.

I took a chance on this one because it's on Adventure Music and I enjoy nearly every issue of theirs. Was not a risk--this is a very interesting release! Harmolodic in essence I'd say, some very heavy percussive tracks, some sparse ethereal tracks, all excellently recorded and fascinating music.

I'll look for more of his releases.

Playing 1. Been awhile since listening to this. Maybe on the AKSA amp - that long ago. For some reason a prolonged session with this group always makes me anxious. Maybe the slow pace? Good detailed recording with a very good soundstage. "Interlude 1" presents a vivid picture of a piano being played in a room while a window is open during a passing storm.
