First time for this group on tubes. I thought surely the zrock would be needed because there has always been a sharp edge in this groups music. Surprisingly it took until 4th track before jumping up and initiating the zrocks rear switch up and setting the front knob to 1 o'clock. Thats the trouble with compilations!
"Closer to Home" voice miking goes from close to ambient. I thought the close position was out of place at first but can understand what was being accomplished in the track at the end. So much new with Decware equipment.

The ZROCK2 is such a great device is it not? I have it coloring every disc played, vinyl or cd or SACD, because it is like "room correction" in a box for me, it fixes what ails the system's interaction with the space so well.

I'm re-listening to Kenny Barron's "Canta Brazil" because it scratches both my itch for some killer jazz piano and my desire to hear some Brazilian sunlight on this crisp Spring morning.

I just take the cover off when I play albums, and put it back on when I’m through.

My playlist has become eclectic past the point of reason. Tonight, though, I'm back to Jazz listening to some awesome Eliane Elias... pretty good stuff.
