No biggie on work disturbance. I work for the state

I work in Jackson, MS, for the Dept. of Transportation, and live in one of the smaller adjacent towns.
My God, of all the selections in the world, that you could have posted - Anson & The Rockets!!! They used to come to Jackson pretty regular, and we would see them in a certain club. This was starting in the late 80's and went on for 15 years or so. We prolly saw them a dozen times.
In the beginning, they had a white singer/harmonica player named Darrell Nulisch. He was really good, but went out on his own, and Sam Myers was his replacement. This could not have been a better match. They were soooo great!
They were just fantastic live, and the best representation is on their live recording, "At The Grand Emporium"(in Kansas City, I think)
Sam passed away some years ago. Im on the road quite a bit, all over the state for work, and found out where Sam was laid to rest. We paid respects several years ago. Picture is attached.

On a side note, lately we have been involved with the Mississippi Blues Trail organisation, making sure that each blues site is signed from a major road, so that the public can find it. This has been pretty interesting - everybody from Charlie Patton and Son House to BB King and Albert King. I knew where many of these sites were prior to this work, but pretty satisfying to get more involved.
Best,
Geno
