My favorite part of the song is Stills' electric guitar parts--my other favorite Stills guitar is on Wooden Ships.

Lon, this is very cool.

Next Friday, I will be attending a live performance at the SF Jazz center. For those unacquainted, SF Jazz is considered the "first free-standing building in America built for jazz performance and education." It's a great jazz venue.

Performing is pianist Adam Shulman paying tribute to Bay Area jazz legend Vince Guaraldi and his soundtrack to Charles Schulz's 1965 holiday classic, A Charlie Brown Christmas.

Should be fun.

I was about to play one of my copies of "Miles Davis at Fillmore" which is like audio comfort food for me as it was one of the first LP sets I bought when I returned to America from Africa. . . and then realized I hadn't played the more recent Bootleg Series of these Fillmore Shows uncut and unedited for a spell so I put on this disc. Great sound. . . even though the different instrumental orientation in the mix unnerves me a bit at times.
