My oldest daughter was
recently married. Like any party, or graduation, or wedding, the song
We Are Young was of course played—and remixed well—at the wedding reception, and it generated the laughing, jumping, raw genetic exuberance at the self-realization of being alive in a moment of joy, a moment in which any of us at any time and place in life can re-live, revel, renew and—in the unfortunate event that it might perhaps have been lost or merely misplaced— recapture and never let go.
In this life, in the brevity of the human span, this slight sliver of a grander continuum, in the short lease we seize on life, we are all young.
P.S. With three Decware amps and six ERRs, it sounds just effin' incredible.
