I thought it odd that the label chose this one to be one of the only two SACDs ever released of Hendrix material, but I'm glad they did as it sounds superb.

By the way, I'm loving the flexibility of my system. My system has a definite signature with either of the modes the P10 can be set with, Lowest Distortion, or High Regulation. And I can switch between two different biases for my input tubes. And there is a choice of 4 or 8 ohm output at the speaker level, and each of these choices yields a sonic change. Then I also can adjust gain ("riding the gain") between DS, ZBIT and the Torii amp, or between the Denon universal player or Rega table and the CSP2+ (which has a wide range of gain choices) into the Torii amp. Talk about being able to tailor the sound!
Lately I keep DS and Torii all the way up and regulate volume via the ZBIT or the CSP2+. Working really well at mesmerizing me with sound.
Next week I may have the new Memory Player. And today a set of speaker cables arrive for me to try. At least right now it's fun changes and nothing is irreversible.
