Come on in, the water’s fine.

I myself have been on the waitlist almost 19 months for a pair of UFO25s (to be configured as balanced mono blocs) and just made the first page a couple weeks ago. I sold my UFOs at the beginning of the year and have been listening to my 300B amp since then. It sounds great but it isn’t the UFO sound and can’t wait for my 25s to get here.

After having an audio room for over 20 years now this last week I finally decided to have more than a single person over at a time . Over two days I had around 9 people over with ages ranging from 26 to 79 with audio exposure from a few years to over 50. Lots of listening and a very interesting comparison with  the results. I have a beloved Taboo amp and I have a ZENUFO25 that we ended up listening to back to back simply dropping one in for the other. We allowed for warm up time but other than that we just listened to our favorite songs with both amps. I had the amp hidden and my godson did the switching without telling anyone. I knew immediately which amp was which only because the ZENUFO25 is new to me and I have tons of time with the Taboo. What I didn’t expect was every single set of ears over the two days preferred the Taboo!  :o
