ZRock2 Bypass Switch Question

Yesterday I installed Denafraps Gaia DDS to my Pontus II DAC; more on that great outcome later. In the process, I lost the functioning of the ZRock2. This issue is separate from Gaia, I think.

When the Bypass Switch on the ZRock is in one direction, I hear music, but when I move the switch to the other position - nothing. The sound is OK in Bypass mode, but when switched to operational mode, the ZRock does not seem to work. I did change the tube, but that did not solve the issue.

Any ideas? I thought I would call Steve, but maybe there is a solution that someone can suggest. I searched but have yet to find a solution.

DrewDays Senior Member Posts: 53	Re: ZRock2 Bypass Switch Question Reply #1 - 04/28/23 at 02:48:10 I had the same issue with mine. Turned out to be a broken wire courtesy of FedEx. Is your tube glowing? If not, have you already checked your fuse?

Drew had to send his back for a broken wire as I recall. It is not just the repair you would get, but a good once over to make sure that everything else is good.
