YouTube turned me on to Dave Alvin, who has become a favorite. Later, I found out that he and his brother Phil were in The Blasters in the 80’s. This is a really great album!

Streaming KSFR radio today they played a track off a Bad Plus album covering Stravinksy’s Rite of Spring. I didn’t know this existed so of course I had to go back and listen to the whole album.

Worth checking out if you are a Stravinsky fan, Bad Plus fan, or both… or even just a music lover.
