New option for F-15 and W-15 baffles
02/21/23 at 17:42:19

A customer recently requested baffles for the Lii Audio F-15 and W-15 drivers in a "rectangle" shape.
This was something that I hadn't considered in the past ..... but after building them I decided that there might be others who would welcome this option .....

Larger photos here and here.

Happy listening,
Randy

Hey Randy!

I like those. That gives buyers another cool option.

I’ll bet they will be popular too.

You certainly offer a large variety now!

I was looking at the internet the other day, and a fellow in Poland had posted pictures of his homemade barrel shaped baffles. You certainly have made your mark on the audio world - far and wide Cool

Very best,

Geno

Hi Randy!

So being square is "in" Smiley

Did you spend some quality time with the square baffles before shipment? Notice any notable differences?

Cheers!

John

Hey Geno,

Many thanks for the kind words .....

Hi John,

Unfortunately, I didn't have time to do any listening before the promised ship date.
Based on other baffles of various shapes that I have built in the past, I still feel that the barrel shaped baffles sound best.
The difference is not "earth shaking", but noticeable with a revealing front end and amplifier.

That's my story ..... and I'm sticking to it .....

Best wishes,
Randy

I have to agree with your stubbornness Randy. Bouncing a spherical wave off a rectangular surface can't end well Roll Eyes
