I sometimes come across an amp builder who prefers class A2. I do not understand what this is. It has something to do with Grid Current.

If you have heard such an amp and agree that it sounds better than A1, would you tell in what way it sounds better?

These pages talk about this type of circuit, but if he made a subjective assessment of the sound, I missed it.
