One of my suppliers located a nice 3/4" thick slab of 18" wide Ash hardwood.



They can be finished in either linseed oil / beeswax or stained walnut, mahogany or ebony.

Bases - 1 1/2" thick poplar - stained Ebony

This is a one of a kind pair of speakers ... 18" wide hardwood is becoming hard to find .....

The only problem I can foresee with these baffles is if your listening room comes under attack by a swarm of Agrilus planipennis ...
