To owners of SE84CKC - which are your preferred tubes?

Please also explain if it is the warmth, harmony or dynamic and so on , you appreciate and value the most.

CKC:

6N1P-EV
6n15n-EB output tubes (Cryoed)
JJ GZ34
My Kimber IC Hero...provides tight bass lines...while my Kimber 3033 Speaker Cable provides the warmth/with this tube compliment...I have found to be the best with my Anedio DAC too.  Wonderful DAC the D2!

SE84CS:

NOS Sovtek 6922
Exclusively SV83 Svetlana's (NOS originals)
5U4G-C

In the CKC I also see its strong preference for the 6N1P-EV in front. However I am at a loss as to why you would use a JJ rectifier.

...because I like it, the GZ34 JJ, seems to be giving me tighter bass...with the Alchemy of what I have created for the bedroom System.

Remember, with all due respect to you higher sensitivity Speaker peoples.....I use 90, 91 and now (Anthony Gallo Reference 3.1) 88db at 1 watt sensitivity Speaker's. SO, my perspective with Tube rolling will be a little different.

The reason I am buying the Zen Mystery Amplifier....Steve made for my segment of the Market. Even though, of course, you can run higher sense' Speaks off it too.

"..Yep, two watts per channel single-ended triode. i must admit they are pretty big watts, as i had no problem driving my reference GamuT s-7’s to a more than reasonable level. (The s-7’s have a rated sensitivity of 89db at 1 watt and a retail price of $42k per pair.)"

"What really sets the Zen apart from all the moderately priced tube amplification i’ve heard is its incredibly lifelike tonality and bass control."

Those JJ GZ34 are great in guitar amps, gives them a good bit a grunt on the bottom end. So I'm not surprised they work well with our flea-watt amps. It's a great tube for those who don't like paying $150+ for NOS.
