Deathbox - Subwoofer sizes and brands

Do you offer a deathbox in a 8" sub woofer configuration ?

Is the Enclosure limited to the mounting depth of the sub woofer?

On the DBK212, I could add 1 or 2 sub woofers correct?

I have a Fusion FJL 1211 DVC sub woofer with a mounting depth of 6.5".
the specs of the sub are as follows

RMS 650 Watts
Voice Coil 3" Black Alloy DVC
XMAX  +/-  13mm
VAS   62 1/2 .18cuft
Impedance 2 OR 8 Ohms
Fs   28.5 Hz
Magnet 325 oz
Response  22Hz - 1.2Hz
QTS  0.352
QMS  3.95
QES  0.391
Mounting Diameter  11.22" /  285mm
Mounting Depth        6.49 /  165mm
Sensitivity (1w/1m)  92.1 dB ( below 100 Hz)

will this sub woofer work ?
thanks

We do not, however people have scaled the box down for 8 inch drivers on their own... not sure the results.  In our tests, we found in nearly all cases that an 8 inch driver sounds best placed into the 10 inch Deathbox vs. scaling the box down.  Simply cut the baffle for an 8 inch driver when your building the 10 inch box.

Is the enclosure limited to the mounting depth of the sub woofer - or rephrased, can it only use woofer that will physically fit inside it?   Not sure what your asking here.

The DBK212 can use one or two drivers.  Two drivers is only used when you are at the power handling maximum of a single driver and have boat loads of unused power and no room for a second box.

Your driver should work fine.

I Think I going to build one for 1-12" sub (Fusion FJL1211)

do you think this sub will do good in the Deathbox at 650 watts RMS @2 ohms for a SPL competition enclosure ?
What is the link to the plans for the use of 1-12" Deathbox ?

what is the H - W - L  of such an enclosure I have modest room in my HHR....but not a lot like a full sized suburban
thanks,
tony

Being an owner of a standard 10" Deathbox I strongly advise you keep with the original design size.  This is assuming your not competing in SPL contests.
