12AX7 AND 6SN7 TUBES

Hello all and thank you for being here for me. I want to know what your experience has been purchasing tubes mentioned above. I am looking for 12ax7 tubes that are very low noise with exceptional sound. I love classical music, in particularly large scale choral and orchestral works and modern jazz groups and bands. Please advise where you would go to purchase tubes? Thanks for all suggestions.

They can usually be found on ebay, but pricey, as not made for years now.

I bought one for myself in musiciansfriend.com. Maybe that can help. Love the sound of those. Gives that just-right warmth I've always been looking for!
