inspire amp by dennis had on ebay

has any one seen the inspire amp on ebay, built by dennis had (cary audio designer) single ended class A el84 output using a rectifier tube 5ar4? and a input tube?  the best one  is he sells them for $775.00. thank god it doesnt have a volume control on it . he thought it would be fun to build these for people ,since his retirement from cary . a take off  of the magnevox console amplfier he says, I guess he never heard of a company called DECWARE!!!!!!!!!!!! Angry

I am sure he has. I wonder if he has put the time and thought into the little things such as the transformers, etc.,

It's really far more a copy cat of the Magnavox amps than anything like a Decware amp. Different capacitor choices I think will make these sound quite different. I wish him luck, I think it's interesting that he's doing this in his retirement, probably a real labor of love.
