has any one seen the inspire amp on ebay, built by dennis had (cary audio designer) single ended class A el84 output using a rectifier tube 5ar4? and a input tube?  the best one  is he sells them for $775.00. thank god it doesnt have a volume control on it . he thought it would be fun to build these for people ,since his retirement from cary . a take off  of the magnevox console amplfier he says, I guess he never heard of a company called DECWARE!!!!!!!!!!!! >:(

I am sure he has. I wonder if he has put the time and thought into the little things such as the transformers, etc.,

its all there RR ,except for the volume control, check it out........copycats aggrevate me !!

It's really far more a copy cat of the Magnavox amps than anything like a Decware amp. Different capacitor choices I think will make these sound quite different. I wish him luck, I think it's interesting that he's doing this in his retirement, probably a real labor of love.
