So I pulled out one of my favs from back in the day: Doug MacLoud's Come to Find. On CD This was an audiophile favorite, but also a great album of acoustic blues.

Another very cool fall morning. Still and the humidity gives a bit or force to the cool. Going to be a lovely day.

I finished listening to a killer disc that I started last night, Dizzy Gillespie "The Giant" on Jazz in Paris/Gitanes cd. This great sextet really GROOVES. NHOP and Klook and the conga player lay it down. NHOP is the MVP IMO.

Now on to a second listen to this excellent cd that was released yesterday.

I'm starting off with a Collectables cd reissue of a 1960 Warwick LP, this is titled "Third World" and is a reissue of "The Soul of Jazz Percussion."

This week (possibly Wednesday or Thursday) the new Mosaic Records box set of early Armstrong should be delivered. I've been waiting! Louis Armstrong "Live in London" Verve cd BBC recording, 1968. Beautiful sound.
