Still that smoke in the air. . . the smell hits your nose right off and my eyes start tearing in a few minutes. Yesterday at my wife's urging we followed the advice on the local news and walked Tobi wearing masks. . . felt a little foolish but that may have been a good idea. We may do so again this morning.
I'm starting off with an excellent Blue Note title, Duke Pearson "The Right Touch" which I have enjoyed many years, this time the Blue Note Japan 85th Anniversary UHQCD. There's a certain sophisticated funkiness to this work that really appeals to me. Great musicians on board as well.
