Just got back from an essentials run preparing for the 12" of snow in the forecast down here followed by at least a week of 0 degree low temperatures. The 25th is at a rest cycle now. 60 hours so far and still improving.

A year before retiring all appliances were replaced at home including the HAVC. Seven years into retirement the fridge and dishwasher had to be replaced again! A lot of new junk out there. This is what drives me looking at older used equipment. Much better quality.

I have some shielded power cord wire. Just need ends. It is my understanding that the DynaGrid uses power just for the heater.

Yes, it's just powering that . . . but in my experience attention to power and isolation always pays off, so I'm giving it the treatment I've given to other components. That attention improved the sound of rectifiers, so should improve this component.

Just got back from a run to breakfast with one of my sister- and brother-in-laws at a restaurant that they love. . .me not so much, but the company is nice. Every Friday I wish we were meeting somewhere else but. . .the company is nice. Roads were better coming back than going there, so the plows were finally at work.
