Now disc 1 of the 2 cd set from Blue Note, the late Wayne Shorter, first release from a series of material he collated before his passing, "Celebration." A live show from Stockholm in 2014. Very nice.

Holiday sounds like a cross between Ol' Blue Eyes and the Man with the Gyrating Hips from Memphis. Some slightly whack trumpet solos here I really enjoy. Sound is excellent!

A beautiful album. Tony Bennett is singing right now. . . wonderfully. Sound is great as well.

Oddly I bought this used as "Plays George Gerswin: the Soul of America" which is the jewel case I got. . . with the Stardust cd within. Still, a great cd!

Good luck with the kitchen renovations. We had a great local contractor renovate our kitchen 2 years ago, it was a complete tear down with "new everything" including appliances. It was a bit of an upheaval, but we vacationed during most of the construction.

We're very happy with the results and quality Amish custom hardwood cabinets and quartz countertops we selected.

We live just a bit away from serious Amish country. My wife had some bad experiences with Amish work and so that was out of the question. I am looking forward to October when all this should be done and things can be normal again. I don't want to do this--the 'fifties galley kitchen we have in this expanded cottage built in 1918 is fine, and this is taking about half of my nest egg and it's needless in my experience. But . . .cheaper than a divorce! (Only half-joking).

On vacation down the Jersey shore…just came back from a morning walk and got some time to listen before we go out to breakfast. Listening to some Wynton Kelly Piano on the deck streaming in Qobuz through a JBL Charge speaker with my Dragonfly Red Dac.

Lon…While I didn’t live through my whole home renovation, it was stressful. But the end result is worth it. Good luck with the renovation and keep the music flowing to ease the pain.

Wynton and Kenny and Paul are among my favorite musicians from that time period! I won't be listening to a lot of music I'm afraid. But I'll get through. The worst part will be waiting two or three weeks for the countertops after the ceiling and cabinetry are done.

Muggy. This may be the last day of kitchen construction for a while, we'll see how much this crew gets accomplished. After their work, it will be a wait for the countertop people. . . and maybe my wife will relax a bit. She's a ball of nerves and excitement!
