Disc 2 of this excellent 2 cd set of Merrill material. The fantastic thing about this collection is that it features meaty chunks of albums that are very hard to find on cd, in excellent sound. The frustrating thing about this collection is that you want to hear every other song on those very hard to find on cd albums and in this sound quality.

One of my favorites of the last few years. Listening for the first time to the Taboo Mk IV as the amplifier to my main system, fed by the CSP2+. I have to say, I am VERY impressed with the sound. Wow it's good. Torii Mk III good, and LOUD enough. Wow.

Honestly I've never heard the "Jazz at the Pawnshop" discs before, though I've heard music from the jazz musicians involved. It just seems that they were lauded for their sound alone, and they are likely the only jazz discs some audiophiles own. Thought I would get around to them one day.

Well a month or so ago I noticed there were now three SACDs and a DVD in a very inexpensive box set so I ordered one and it arrived today. Listening to disc 1 and it sounds quite nice indeed.
