HWKs for large P.A. (Read 6248 times)

masseysmusic Ex Member	HWKs for large P.A. 02/11/08 at 18:58:17 I was considering building some HWKs to use in a faily large P.A. system used at concerts and festivals and such. I already have the power amps and the drivers. I too would have to scale them for 18" drivers. Any input before I start doing this will be greatly appreciated. Rick

You will not be hearing much in the way of vocals, never mind hi-hats. So unless the HWK was augumented with some serious midrange/tweeter stuff, an alternative type of speaker may be best.
