Damage to house stories

Anyone have any cool stories about cracked drywall, broken glass?  How do you raise your WAF after damage to broken trinkets around the house?

Anyone had any problems with damage / shortened life to front projection bulbs?

Hi Bob,

Some may think that the term "Housewrecker" is a joke.  IT'S NOT!

I have built three of them, all 15", over the last four years.  Gave one away, sold one.  I use mine for home theater and not for any serious music listening.

The first one was used in a old farm house and I succeeded in knocking a bunch of plaster down from the ceiling in a closet next to the livingroom.

I now live in a 100 year old all brick home.  The foundation of my home is all brick also.  I have noticed that the morter between the bricks in that foundation below my HT room is disintegrating at a higher rate than normal.

Someone I know has discontinued the use of his very large subwoffer because of the damage to his cement foundation.

To much of a good thing has a stiff price.
