Transformer Hum

I've been noticing a hum from my Taboo III for a while now. It seems to be getting worse, assuming it's from the transformer. Anything I should do?

It never hurts to try a new set of tubes when something is changing in your amp, if you haven't already. If you don't have a spare set you really need one.

I'm not an expert but I think a lot of times transformer hum is caused by DC on the AC input. If that is the case you need some kind of filter, like an isolation transformer. The ZLC is an example.

I have a BK 707 tube tester, I'll test them. Never crossed my mind that a failing tube could cause it, but simple enough to rule out. Sound quality is great, but you never know.
