The paintings (from Kilauea erupting in 2018) are the first step in a room treatment plan that keeps adapting to changing circumstances. One of those changing circumstances was the waterfall light, which was supposed to be for our teenager, who decided it wouldn’t fit in a dorm room. So, suddenly, I needed a use for it. Things will change yet again when a whole stack of GIK acoustics panels arrives in a week or so. And in the meantime, I can figure out what to do with 48 square feet of rock wool that got abandoned in favor of recycled denim batting at a later stage in this project than I’d care to admit. But, in any event, the lights are purty and the music just keeps getting better.
