The bottom line, you cannot go wrong with the CryoTone tubes. I have had a number of them, and for the most part, I have been pleased.

The misses for me were the 5AR4-WCs. They were all right but didn't compete well against my other rectifiers. I understand that a new 5AR4 is coming out from CryoTone, and maybe the one you listed is the more recent version. I would confirm that first with Don.

There has also been discussion regarding the EL84s vs. the 6P15Ps. I have had both and liked both. This choice is a more difficult decision than with the older 5AR4s.
