And is it possible to get some kind of idea of what the back of the unit looks like? I know, moving it isn't a little thing. Just curious.

I bought it new about 3 years ago. Then set out to have the plinth built, cartridges auditioned MM/MC , internal phono bypassed, and 6ft leads on the phono cables. The mat, ring, and weight really solidifies the whole rig. It is impressive considering most of my cartridges on my other tables cost many times more than this entire rig. The rear allows for an aftermarket power cable of choice.
