watts maxed out RMS?

I have two SKAR VD-8 D4 woofers. both of them claim 600Watts peak and 400 RMS.  I bought a Carvin V3 Guitar Amplifier... I misunderstood the watts rating on it.  I get 50 Watts on one OHM setting and 100Watts on the other.  Can I hurt my amplifier running these in series to make 8 ohms? The output can be changed from4 to 8 and 16 OHM...

I don't know what the biased thing is... could I blow my guitar amplifire if I have the wrong BIAS?

I like the way they sound free-air and plan someday to build a Infra-Bass THunder and use a Bass amp. will it hurt my current amp the way I have it set up? I have the 4ohm dual voice coil run in series to make 8 ohms for each driver output. I have never heard of BIAS... It is in the pucture...
