Recently in another thread Kamran and Will were answering my question about network cables. The small cost of the upgrade from my generic network cable (router to streamer) to a Supra was a small investment though I must admit I was skeptical. Then Will mentioned Neotech. A little scouting on USAudiomart I found a used Neotech for the same cost as the Supra.
Installed it this morning after two hours of listening to some old favorites on the generic cable (cablematters.com CAT6a). Did I mention I was skeptical that a network cable would/could change anything?
Blacker? Brighter? Darker? Crisper? Tighter, punchier bass? Sizzling cymbals and snare wires?
I really don’t understand how a network cable can make such a notable difference. I’m still scraping my jaw off the floor. Not getting anything done today I guess, it’s a listening party now. Lol.
