This is a really great album!

I didn’t know this existed so of course I had to go back and listen to the whole album. Worth checking out if you are a Stravinsky fan, Bad Plus fan, or both… or even just a music lover.

Just received this a few days ago. Awesome mixing etc. both 2 channel and surround. We have listened to this one a LOT in just a few days through the Zen. Amazing!!

And Geno. we've had that Spirit title for years (cd version). Love it! And of course Jethro Tull!, including almost all of the book sets. Steven Wilson mixes are always incredible

They were so laughable and ridiculous that I couldn’t help watching… and catchy enough to keep my attention. Fast forward-> I really enjoy them. Another of their albums “Crawler” is good too.

I stumbled on a young musician named Hudson Freeman this week. He has some albums on Qobuz; a new album in 2025 that isn’t recorded very well but good music. I expect he will be blowing up. Very talented.

I have been following some good discussions in the forums about gear but my interest is primarily in the music. Friday is one of my favorite days for listening through all the week’s new releases. Unfortunately, today is a hum-drum day for new releases. Thank goodness for radio. Santa Fe’s KSFR came to the rescue with a great set this afternoon.

Today I took out of storage two out of four boxes of Dead shows I downloaded, made artwork for, and burned to cdr when we were in Houston while Helen was battling lymphoma. About 75 discs overall. I popped one in at random, from 1969, and it sounds pretty good all considered. A show where PigPen was ON.

Now onto a disc to totally wake my system up. Flying Lotus "Until the Quiet Comes"

Wow, it was warm last night! And going to be really hot today. Sigh. It won't last, thank goodness. Fall will be here soon enough.

Starting off with a disc I pulled from storage, "Sahib Shihab and the Danish Radio Jazz Group" Oktav cd. The one fault that this disc has is that it is not twice as long as it is!
