BEST VR 3 style tube (Read 858 times)

grinnell Seasoned Member Posts: 111	BEST VR 3 style tube 03/10/23 at 14:51:22 Looking to boost output levels which tube will do that? I know that the OA3 is recommended, and some say the OC3 has the best voltage regulation. Any thoughts?

Two different Questions.

If your Torii came with a Sylvania OA3 I would suggest finding a RCA or GE OA3 pair for $30-40. Maybe less if you get lucky. Something to compare you may be surprised.

Systems are different. Some have more tube stages and gain structures. All about synergy.
