Schitt Freya + as pre amp vs Bottlehead (Read 4803 times)

I currently have a bottlehead moreplay that I really like they also have a 300B based pre-amp that I am looking to get that might be great so I am trying to decide.

I am using a Freya+ as well. Admittedly, I have upgraded the caps on mine which did result in another layer of clarity, but stock with great tubes this preamp sounds amazing, and will easily last you until to get the itch to really step up and get a ZTPRE. This was my plan, but now with the Freya+ Sarah 300B combo, I'm really in no rush.

I've been pleased with it, especially the ability to run balanced or SE and choose passive vs. active vs. tube gain stage.
