That is one of the coolest TT's I have seen in awhile! Is that speed control box for the Rega?

I couldn't help myself. I looked at the Sound Smith cartridge because the MI/MC seemed unusual. What I learned is that this is a special cartridge. The moving iron carts usually are a higher output, but this one is made especially for MC preamps. Maybe this is not a new idea, I dunno, but was new to me. Great reviews too.

It is a really cool looking table. It's also incredibly light!

Peter Ledermann the owner of Sound Smith is a great guy too. His talks on cartridges are really interesting. Worth watching if you want to learn more about how cartridges work.

The only reason I'm selling the Zephyr MIMC is that I'm now using a transimpedance phono stage and MI cartridges are not compatible... so they say, I actually haven't tried the cart with the new phono, if it does work I'll keep the cart and sell just the table. That will be a few days from now as I don't get home until late tomorrow.

EDIT: Yes it is the Rega speed controller.
