DIYers,
What wire do you use for internal connections?

I like to use the same wire and configuration as the external interconnects if possible.

For my HDT speakers, since I use Goertz speaker wire, I had them built with the same Goertz M1.

I also use Goertz silver micropurl interconnects, which, at best, would be near impossible to use internally in my amps. I do however, use silver wherever I can. Gauge is determined by application.

I agree with Bill here. Probably if you are concerned with the quality of the wire, you will be doing better than most of the industry. I do like to use something flexible and easy to work with.
