CNC Tiny Radials
11/03/22 at 01:59:11
Needed some speakers for all the travel I am doing lately. They needed to be small enough to fit inside the suitcase. I bought the Tiny Radial plans a while back so finally got around to making them with stuff, I had laying around the shop.

The holes are there to align all the sections and also solid wood for the driver mounting screws to screw into.

They sound great and fit perfectly in my work boots to protect them inside the suitcase.

That’s awesome! As an amateur wood worker, or better yet hacker, I’d love to get a CNC. I think this is the best example of what can accomplish with one that I’ve seen.

So very cool! I've been studying some cabs using translamination for my next speaker project and this just makes me want to do it even more.

Thanks guys, this was fun to do. They actually survived the trip. They do sound good, but I need to try them on some Decware amps to see how they will sound on tubes. If they sound good and the amp has enough power for them, I will try to make a tube amp that will fit into the suitcase. I have some ideas to get the amp portable.
