Snatched this baby up last night, after 2 days posted:

Purchased just the amp. No tubes. Paid about 1/3 of original build cost in mid-2020 (whaaaaat?) I expect this beauty to be a very special amp. My first and hopefully last ever 300B. It was designed straight from the schematic of the Luxman MQ-300.

Will likely load up on Cryotone tubes, sans the 300B's....going to first try the blue light specials that Steve really liked, Guiguang brand (about $150 for a pair):

This will replace the Line Magnetic 34ia in the second system. Might very well also sell the Nola Boxer II's in favor of Steve's T6's.

Also, will rotate this one with the Torii Mk5-25th in main system from time to time for happy shits and giggles.

I looked up those ISO-Tango transformers....freaking expensive!!

Almost excited as much about this as I've been waiting for 1.5 yrs for the venerable Torii MK 5 which is turning out to be the absolute best audio purchase I ever made by a landslide in armageddon.....right along with the upgraded HR-1's.
