An honest tune with a lingering lead

Hi Tommy, Thanks, I absolutely love them although I’ve modded them a bit. The results have been amazing, more detail, better imaging, soundstage feels 20 feet wide in my 12 foot wide room with well recorded tracks lol, I get the chills. Most importantly for me is that they’ve acquired a less “in your face”presentation. Here’s a list of what I’ve done.
1 inch dowels sideways at both 12 and 24 inches from the top of the cabinet to decrease resonances. Back and sides of the cabinet covered in No-rez from GR research 100 microfarad Jupiter copper foil caps on the tweeter. All new internal wiring, 14 gauge silver coated ofc. Tube connectors from GR research 25 ohm resistors from ZU, makes the DW into an 8 ohm load. 2 inch elevation on 13 inch square walnut cutting boards, this brings the tweeter closer to my ear level. Probably most of the reason that detail and imaging has gotten so much better!
