Mono switch on Decware ? (Read 1338 times)

Mono switch on Decware ?

Have any any of you had a mono switch installed in your Decware amp ? I wonder if it’s possible without a degradation in sound quality ? I listen to a lot 50’s Jazz recordings  where you have the soloist and the rhythm section separated in to left and right channel . I don’t always care for it -  Mono switch would be handy . I believe I read somewhere that Art Dudley always insisted on having  a mono switch installed on his Shindo pre amps ?

I have had this added to a CSP2+ preamp and to a ZP3 phono preamp and there was no sonic degradation.

I’m really happy to hear this Lon - thank you . I’’m hoping a mono switch can be installed on my yet to be delivered SE84UFO25 as I’m planning on using it without a preamp . I’ii inquire further Steve / Decware .

Good luck! It's worth having if he can manage it in that tight amp topology.
