UFO2 Phono Preamp Recommendation (Read 2333 times)

I'm waiting on my UFO2 and have a Vincent PHO 701. I'm eyeing the ZP3, but I wonder if it's too much for the UFO2, or if it's a perfect match. Are there other phono preamps you all like to use with the UFO2? Thanks!

I'm sure the ZP3 is an excellent choice. Note however if you have a MC cartridge you'll need a step up transformer. If you want another opinion I have the Phono 3E from Mapletree Audio:

which is a very "Decwareish" company (just a couple of guys) in Canada. It is similar to the ZP3, but has an external (solid state) power supply and uses a 12SN7 tube instead of a 12AU7 as the cathode follower. I use it with a Luxman stepup transformer and my vinyl sounds fantastic via my UFOs.
