Greetings all,

Just for discussion, what is everyone's opinion on the

SE84UFO2
vs
SE34I.5

Apart from the obvious 2W vs 6W!
I am more thinking sound wise, presence, dynamic, etc.
I am thinking someone who would have listen to both amps in an otherwise same system.

Your impressions?

I am personally getting a UFO2, that is what I have on order.
Almost there now, at 674 on the waiting list! Wink

Congrats on your order! I ordeered the UF02 as well and researched for months comparing the Rachel. There are plenty of threads and you have lots of time to research. Then when I felt close to “parts pulled” I set up a call with Steve. Mine is in testing so I have no firsthand experience to lend but you will find alot here. Sure other veterans will chime in.. Steve sent me a very helpful email when I was making exactly the same choice - and yes, it came down to my speakers and listening preferences. As the Lii 15s are very revealing he thought I would appreciate the warmth of the Rachael. I seem to recall he said the UFO2 was more revealing, the Rachael a little warmer.

I never did the comparison - but I got the Rachael and have not had a bad music day since. It only gets better (which reminds me, I owe the board a review when I have time).

Best advice is talk to Steve if you can get him, he is SUPER helpful. And there's no bad choices w. Decware, only BETTER choices.

Think it is a very good entry level audiophile TT if there is such a thing…if i wasnt a broke but sincere would have gotten the P6, but this one sounds great and love the clean look, and RED!
