Hi all - I have my old SE84CKC for sale. Ser #70, purchased Jan 2014. I have replaced it with a Torii Jr and am no longer using it. Includes all tubes and an extra set of output tubes. $800. I will ship it in the original box Decware shipped it in, including all bubblewrap. They did a great job packing it.

The only issue I ever had was when one output tube shorted out - probably got shaken during our move from FL to NC. That blew something inside and I lost a channel. Decware fixed it for me and I also ordered an extra set of output tubes that have maybe 50 hours on them.

So... how does it compare to the JR??
I have a Jr. It’s @ Decware now. I live in Peoria and talked to Steve about it because it’s got a hum. Anyway, he did remark, “It’s (Jr) is not the quietest amp I make.”

I’m curious because the “problem area” I’m having is super low midnight volume... considering maybe picking up an 84.

sorry for my late reply. Been busy skiing lol. I like the Jr because it has more oomph at bottom end and it plays louder. I listen to jazz, blues, pop, rock and some classical. Also seems slightly more detailed. But I did upgrade the 6922's to some Russian 6H23Ps and added new manufacture TungSol EL34's.
