Hello? Has anyone tried one? I’ve read good things but don’t know.  I might have a line on a reasonably priced one, but if it’s going to blow the fuse, or whatever other problematic thing,  I'll probably pass. The base should fit I think? I have data sheet, but I’m a newbie to tube rolling and electrical theory. I know any rectifier should be able to handle the rush of a 47uf cap, and? 1 amp?  Thanks!

It’s not a too good to be true deal, but still, really good.  The RCA 5U4G that’s in the amp sounds amazing btw. I’m just curious to see what the differences are in a few others. I’ve got a few on the way- a 1960’s Svetlana 5U4G, a Sheldon hi-po 567, and a 40’s RCA JAN 5R4GY CRC(killer deals on all!) , but the 422a wasn’t mentioned as a drop in replacement in the Torii Jr. manual. I really appreciate it!
