Ronald - Got me on this one, not sure. I my Rachel I have used EL34, 6L6, KT66, KT77 and 807's with adapters. The 807's stay. I have never had an output tube sound bad, just less magic if you will. Hopefully someone will chime in who has used 6V6. Keep us posted, that's how we all learn. Happy listening, Chris.
