Hello,
I see that the standard Imperial is sometimes made with 18 inch instead of 15 inch drivers. I have not yet seen mention of this with the S.O., have any of you tried this?  

Without the need to jam two drivers onto the board, there may even be room for one of the 21 inch speakers that are now on the market. Whether this would help the sound, I don't know.
