Many of the forum readers are aware of the fact that I had a bout with oral cancer about ten years ago .....
It was a totally unexpected thing since I'm not a tobacco user.
The doctors told me that it was probably triggered by a virus and this situation is becoming increasingly common.
Whatever the reason, I survived a stage four diagnosis and surprised the doctors. Ohio doctors apparently don't know much about how stubborn we hillbillies in Caintuck are .....

Anyhow, the reason for this post is that (in addition to a pronounced speech impediment) my ability to eat "normal" foods has been severely limited for the past ten years because the radiation treatments totally burned up my salivary glands. My diet is pretty much oatmeal, yogurt and anything that can fit into my small blender.
Most commercial soups have WAY too much salt and other spices that twist my tongue into a knot.
In addition to the other superb foods that Litefoot Dan prepared for the Decware Fest, he made a killer pumpkin soup (from scratch) that was very tasty without sending my tongue into a spasm .....

Many thanks, Dan .....

Looking forward to seeing you at Decware Fest 2020 .....
Best wishes,
Randy
