I bet this is really nice if you are into needle drops. I'm not, and I have one of its predecessors in my second system, and a ZP3 in my main system, but this is likely a sweet phono preamp that can double as a regular preamp, and send an analog signal such as from a tuner or tape deck into a digital DAC/preamp, which is pretty cool. I know some chaps using the PS Audio DAC Mk II are using this to incorporate an analog source into their system without using an analog preamp, or giving them another input when needed. Neat if that helps your situation.
