I'm selling a strong matched pair (1200/1200-1200/1200) of Baldwin Raytheon 12Ax7 tubes, both dated 1960.
1250 is the average strength of a new tube, but I have never seen these available NOS. They were selected for low noise and great tone, for use in Baldwin's organs.
With low noise, tight bass, and sweet mids they are ideal for use in a Decware ZP3. I previously used 60's Mullards and 1959 Amperex in my own ZP3, and found that I prefer the Baldwin/Raytheons over both of those. They have a special keeper above the top plate, which contributes to the low noise.
These are the preferred early production tubes, with long black plates, halo getter, and the special top keeper. They still have most of the Baldwin lettering.
Very nice tubes for $38.00, which includes First Class mail shipping. I'm selling as I really don't need several pairs. Paypal is fine.
Thanks! Mike
