I don't have an answer.  I think I read somewhere that it's not the long wait like with vcaps though.

The reason I replied is I chuckled to myself when I saw your question... my semi joking and semi true response is:

It won't matter. The torii will sound fantastic on day 1.  You'll be skipping around with a  :) on your face, happy with your purchase, falling in love with your music all over again.  And slowly it will only get better.  breakin time? I didn't care after the torii arrived.

that was my experience with mine with normal caps.
