Greetings.  I  just  got my last batch of (24) NOS 6P15P-EV (Rusian Reflector factory C. 1981-82)  back from  being  Cryo- treated.

I've  sold a number of these  here to Decware  users about 2  years ago, and another batch of (32) just a few months  ago. The  orignal set I put in my mono-blocked  Selects are  still  running  strong over  those  2+  years,  with  heavy play time. I  got  nothing  but positve feedback from  those  who have  gotten them.

No time  soon.  I  don't  have any EL34s.   These  tubes are  all from  an insanely  large  collection of  tubes  I have  accumulated  for  my  pair of  Selects  over the  years.  So, pretty much every  tube that  will  work  in  those  amps, I  have in  pretty  big  quantities.

My plan  is  to  move to  a  Tori in the  next  year for  my  main system.  I  will keep  the  Selects as a  2nd/3rd  i(f I  split the pair)  system.    So  I plan to  keep enough  tubes to  run those  for many  years to  come with the  light  use they will  have.  I  plan to  have  all the better  NOS tubes  cryo'd,  keep what  I need , and sell the rest to  help  my Tori Fund, or  better  yet New Tubes for Tori fund  
Since pretty much all tubes  are  different  from the  Selects.
I will have to  start  a new  tube  hoard.

Once I  start getting those, I  may  get  some  cryo'd. If  you  have  tubes  you  would like to  get  cryo's let me  know. My  friend can  hook it  up  when there is  downtime  at the  lab.

I too ordered tubes from Rob on August 18 and have not received the tubes nor any response from Rob.  The last message I got from him was on the 18th stating that he had received my payment.  I have filed a claim with PayPal.

Is it possible that something not-so-good happened to him? I hope not, but it just seems so strange.

I hope this all gets solved for the best.

I totally understand your viewpoint and am not disputing your position at all. I guess I'm just saying. . . I hope he's just a schmuck, rather than that something awful has happened to him in the time frame you suggested. I thought he had sold quite a few tubes with great success on the board. It's puzzling, but I'm not involved, just a bystander.

Again, hope all this turns out for the best.

I'm not intending to beat this topic over the head and I do hope that nothing is seriously wrong  with Rob...

My last email from Rob came on August 19 saying my tubes would be shipped out the following day.  August 20.  If you check Rob's forum profile it says that he was last logged onto the forum on August 26 and his last post was on August 22.

My sincere apologies to Nico &  Jon  for my  failure to  get these  tubes to you.  This  is  why I  have  always  used PayPal  as it  offers  protection to both the  buyer  and  seller in the  event something like the  following  takes  place.........

Right after my  last message  to  Nico,  I  suffered a  stroke caused  by blood  clot  that  traveled to  my  brain. This might  sound  crazy.. but I was  lucky.  Normally, this  type  of  clot is a killer.  For  me it  impacted  one  side of  my  brain  and effected  my  motor  skills mildly but  my  speaking  skills immensely.   I  could  see, hear, understand, but could  not  communicate effectively  what I was thinking.

I  was in the  hospital/therapy  for  a little  over  3 months, and  am  just  now  getting  back  to work and to  "normal  life". I  run a local territory for a  company in the  A/V industry  and  am paid  commission only. Luckily,  my  company was  very  supportive  of  me  and  my  family - and I  carried  pretty  could disability  insurance. I  am  thankful that things are all-in-all pretty good.

I  really  missed  my  Decware  system all these  months, and  survived on iPods  and  such these  long  months. Music  was very  helpful in my therapy.

I  had  to do a  lot of  work to  get  back on-line  with a  bunch of  sites, including this  one. I forgot many  password and had a slew of PC  issues after  we had the  storms here, and  while  my computer  sat for  months  getting  hit  with power  surges, viruses, and other  fun stuff.

Anyway....  it's  been a long  road, but I am  feeling  great now  and  getting  back to  enjoying  life  again.

I  still have a  number of these  cryo'd tubes  and  would  like to  offer Nico &  Jon first  shot  at them if interested. I will  offer  free shipping to  you two.
